STRIPED HILLSIDES.
This picture is a vestige from last week, showing tracks of the lime truck in Field 7.
Field 6 is in the foreground. The cow herd will move there next week, after a rest period for this field of about 80 days. The herd was last in this location on May 31, the date of our Farm Tour.
This is just an interesting picture of a sycamore tree planted only six years ago, wild hibiscus, and rice cut grass - in our wetlands. I made the mistake of wading into the grass in shorts to take the picture, and quickly experienced why "cut" is part of the name.
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday. We will serve Moroccan sliders, chili, beef, lamb, pastured chicken, and pastured eggs.
